FAQ’S — PLEASE READ PRIOR TO MAKING A RESERVATION

What is your cancellation policy?

We understand plans can change and trips get cancelled. You will not be charged if you need to cancel your reservation, however we do appreciate you letting us know you are cancelling so we can give your pets spot to someone else. Please note we do not require deposits or pre-payments. If you chose to make one anyway, we cannot refund them.

Is there a specific time that I need to drop my dog off at?

You can drop your pet off anytime during our business hours.

Is there a specific time that I need my pet to be picked up at?

You can pick your pet up anytime during our normal business hours. For pets here for boarding, you will need to pick them up by 2pm on their last day to avoid our late check out fee of $15 for each pet.

Can I have a friend pick up or drop off my pet?

Yes. If you are having someone drop your pet off for you, make sure to confirm all your pets boarding information (feeding, medication, etc) either online or over the phone ahead of time. For pick up, make sure you add whoever is picking up as an authorized pick up person. You can do this either online or over the phone.

What should I bring for my pet’s stay?

We provide food/water bowls, cots, blankets, bedding, and toys for all pets staying here. We do not recommend bringing anything besides your dogs food, treats, and their leash. If your dog needs a slow feeder, please let us know at check in and we can provide one during meal times.

Can I bring my pet’s own food?

Yes, you can bring your pets food! We recommend you bring your pets food in meal portioned bags to ensure they have enough food for their entire stay. My Pet’s Place can provide food at $1 per feed if preferred. We do charge a $10 storage fee for large dog food bags and containers. We also charge $3 per night for refrigerated or frozen foods.

I have a pet that requires medication, can they still be boarded?

Yes, our staff is trained to administer medications to both cats and dogs. All medication brought with your pet needs to be in a labeled prescription bottle with the pets name and the correct dosage. If the dosage on the bottle is different, we require a note from their vet. We also ask that you provide pill pockets for the medications. There will be an additional daily charge of $1 per day for administrating.

I am thinking about signing my dog up for group play. Do dogs ever get hurt?

Although we do our best to minimize any injury to your dog, during normal play a dog may get small scratches, nicks, and lose small patches of fur. Although rare, it is possible for more serious injuries to occur. We do treat any wounded animals at Redstone Animal Hospital. Owners will be responsible for all veterinary fees.

Does my dog need to come in for an Evaluation/Meet & Greet before they can stay here?

We do not require a meet and greet before they can come, however if you would like your pet to participate in group play, we will give them a slow introduction on their first day and evaluate then. If for any reason, group play is not the right fit, we will communicate that with you and discuss private play instead.

My dog doesn’t like other dogs. Can they still come?

Yes they can! We offer private enrichment playtime for dogs that enjoy the attention of humans rather than other dogs. Dogs here for daycare or boarding can sign up for this service.

How many dogs are allowed in Group Play at one time?

To keep a safe play environment, we maintain staffing ratios of one staff member for every 15 dogs. We never exceed the amount of 30 dogs in one playgroup. We also have one of the largest play yards in Colorado, so your dogs will have room to run and spread out!
