Dr. Rachel Hooper

DVM

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine

Dr. Rachel Hooper is originally from New Jersey and grew up to attend the University of Maryland in the hope of pursuing a career in a laboratory. After school, she went on to work for a couple of years as a technician before returning to school to get her Masters in laboratory medicine. Once she achieved this goal, however, Dr. Hooper realized that she missed the hands-on experiences of life in an animal clinic and decided that her true passion lay in the veterinary world. Between this newly discovered love and a trip to Colorado to visit her sister, Dr. Hooper ended up attending Colorado State University where she graduated with her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2016. She then went on to practice medicine for two years at Columbine Animal Hospital before recently joining the Redstone team. We are so happy to welcome Dr. Hooper to our practice!

The reasons why Dr. Hooper has loved working at Redstone thus far are because everyone is very friendly and positive while still managing to skillfully accomplish tasks. She enjoys coming to work in the Redstone environment every day!

Many values drive Dr. Hooper, but some of the most important values to her are her integrity, a strong sense of the importance of being of service to others, and an unquenchable love of family. Dr. Hooper strives to live her life by prioritizing these values and ensuring that she has plenty of time with the people she loves!

When she is not working, Dr. Hooper loves to venture outside to experience the great outdoors! Whether it is hiking, camping, kayaking, or just going for a walk, Dr. Hooper loves exploring her new home state with her husband and her Australian shepherd Tally.
